All water softeners are designed to work quietly, efficiently and without fuss and for most of its lifespan will remain extremely reliable. We do recommend that a routine service is carried out every year to ensure continued efficient running, and that settings are checked and maintained and any small filters and seals are replaced to prolong the life expectancy of the whole unit.
With time raw water conditions change and the performance of a water softener will decline. Regular service is essential to ensure that a water softener continues to perform in an efficient, cost effective and reliable manner and that your down-stream processes are protected from the damaging effects of hardness slippage. However, you must remember that this is dependent on how hard the unit is working – a smaller capacity unit working in a high water usage system will require more regular upkeep.

Contract Servicing – Preventive Maintenance Service
- We offer a range of cost effective contract service options which can be tailored to your needs to ensure that your water softener remains operating as it should and extending its serviceable life.
- As a service contract customer, you will be given preferential treatment for break-down and call-out service.
Water Softener Resin Replacement
- Even with a well maintained system, the water softener resin bed will need to be replaced eventually. When that time comes we can pump out the old resin bed and replace it with new ion exchange resin to restore the performance of your unit.
