  • Inspection data – Tick box responses, notes, and photographs taken during site inspections and risk assessments.

  • Device information – Basic device details needed to run the app (e.g. device type, operating system).

  • Usage data – Information about how you use the app, such as which features you access.

We use the data collected for the following purposes:

  • To allow you to log in and use the app.

  • To store and compile inspection reports and risk assessments on behalf of your employer or client.

  • To generate consolidated PDF reports from inspection data.

  • To improve the app and fix any issues.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which hosts data in secure data centres within the European Economic Area. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:

  • Google (Firebase) – As our cloud infrastructure provider, solely for storing and processing app data.

  • Your employer or client – Inspection reports generated through the app may be shared with the relevant client as part of the service provided by Enviroteam Services Ltd.

  • Legal requirements – If required by law or a court order.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide our services. Inspection and risk assessment data may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with health and safety record-keeping requirements. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.

  • Request a correction to inaccurate data.

  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).

  • Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
